The Challenge

The British School, New Delhi offers a genuinely broad enrichment programme spanning sports, arts, and a wide range of activities beyond the academic curriculum. The brief was to communicate that breadth in a way that felt as considered and aspirational as the school itself. Not just a list of activities, but an invitation into a world of possibility.

The brochure needed to speak to two audiences simultaneously: students who want to be excited by what they see, and parents who want to feel reassured by what they read. It also needed to feel unmistakably The British School, not a generic educational brochure with the logo dropped in.

The Solution

The design started with the school's signature blue, drawn directly from their logo. Rather than treating it as a secondary accent, it became the primary thread running through the entire brochure, giving the piece coherence and immediate brand recognition from cover to last panel.

The bi-fold format was chosen deliberately. It creates a natural flow of information, guiding the reader through different activities and programme areas without the piece ever feeling like a catalogue. Each section was given space to breathe, with dynamic visuals paired with focused descriptions that informed without overwhelming.

The overall layout balanced energy with clarity. A school enrichment brochure needs to feel alive, the kind of thing a student picks up and actually reads, while still being organised enough that a parent can find what they are looking for quickly. The signature blue did double duty throughout: holding the design together visually and consistently reinforcing the school's identity at every turn.
