The Challenge

The organic home gardening space in India is growing fast, but most brands in it look the same: earthy photography, generic green packaging, credibility claims in small print. White Root Organics had genuinely good products under the Greenure and Big Leaf lines, cow dung manure and a flower booster made with real organic commitment. The challenge was packaging and a web presence that cut through a crowded, visually uninspiring category and gave the brand a personality worth remembering.

The Solution

The packaging direction started with a question: what does growth actually look like? Not the literal, agricultural answer, but the felt sense of it: abundance, vitality, things bursting into life. The answer came from mid-century botanical illustration, flat geometric forms in deep reds, saffron oranges, forest greens, and near-black, arranged with the confidence of a plant that knows exactly what it is doing.

The Greenure bag was built around a single striking visual: a seedling rising from rich dark soil, a sun behind it rendered as a bold orange circle, leaves geometric and intentional. Clean white background, sharp green wave at the base, 100% Organic certification mark placed with confidence rather than apology. The Big Leaf flower booster bottle carried the same botanical illustration language into a smaller format, the flowers bold and graphic, the colour palette immediately recognisable as the same family.

The design proposal was rooted in two ideas: fertility and growth as visual themes rather than just product claims, and vibrant colour as a signal of natural abundance rather than synthetic artificiality. The packaging looked like it belonged in a concept garden store, not a supplies aisle.

The Shopify website extended the same visual world into a digital experience that let the products and their story breathe.

What was built

Packaging design across two product lines: Greenure Cow Dung Manure and Big Leaf Flower Booster. Botanical illustration system developed as a design language across both products. Shopify website design and build for the White Root Organics storefront.

Result

Packaging that made an organic gardening product feel like a considered purchase rather than a commodity one. White Root Organics got a visual identity that stood apart from every other brand on the shelf and a Shopify store that gave the products the context they deserved.
